OCTOBER BEAUTY FAVOURITES

This months favourites is all beauty, purely for the fact that I’ve been loving so many products and felt it was necessary to share them all. By the end of October I came up with 8 favourites, which I split into three categories, and to find out what they are keep reading!

FACE

Left-Right: Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation, Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow, Benefit Zero Agent Shine

After using Dior Skin Star Foundation for so long, I never thought I would be able to find a foundation to match, or be better. But this new foundation by Charlotte Tilbury proved me so wrong. The foundation gives medium-full coverage yet feels completely weightless. It conceals so well and glides on like a dream.
Shade 5: warm peachy shade, perfect for medium skin tones with neutral undertones.
If you’re fed up of dull, tired and dehydrated skin then look no further. This primer instantly made my face feel and look luminous and soft, it works wonders with all base products I use. I’m totally in love! I luckily received this free with a kit I recently bought from Charlotte Tilbury, so it’s a smaller sample size of the product, but once I’ve run out I’m sure I’ll go and purchase the full size.
This is a product that does what it says. I tend to get quite oily on long days that I’m at uni or work, so this is perfect to freshen up my face and get rid of any oiliness. It’s the perfect size to travel with, and also comes with a brush which screws into the bottom.
EYES

Left-Right: MAC Nylon, MAC Paint Pot in Painterly

4.   MAC Nylon
Hands down the best shadow I’ve used to highlight the inner corner of my eye. It’s a frosty white gold colour, which is highly pigmented and makes your eyes look lit from within, its that incredible.
This product works incredible as a base that prevents your priligy shadows from creasing. I find that the pink/peach undertone counteracts any dark pigmentation on the lid also. All round a great multi tasking eye base product.
LIPS

Top: MAC Whirl Liner, Left-Right: Chanel Rouge Velvet in 34, NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in London
I loved this shade all year, but this month it seems to be working with everything. It’s gorgeous for autumn, instead of a berry red or dark nude; it’s a musky rose pink, which I think is gorgeous for this time of year. The lipstick gives a velvet matte finish and is super long lasting.
I have been wearing this colour a lot the past few weeks, and it’s a product I rely on and always carry with me. The product is very matte, but isn’t drying at all and leaves a nice soft nude/brown finish. I really love this, and it’s so affordable!
8.   MAC Whirl
A product highly raved about as it’s one of Kylie Jenner’s favourites, and I can see why. I’ve had this quite a long time, but this month I’ve been reaching for it a lot more. It matches with so many lipsticks, and is also gorgeous to wear by itself or with a neutral nude gloss on top. This is a definite must have if you love nude lips!

Leave down in the comments your current favourite beauty product(s).

  • Ahhhh this is making me want to get some Charlotte Tilbury products right now! Love these beauty favourites a lot, MAC Painterly and Whirl are on my list now (I've heard great things about the soar lipliner as well, have you tried that?). I saw NYX Lip Creams at the shops the other day but wasn't sure if they would be drying, definitely going to grab a couple now, cause they are super affordable! 🙂
