I received this stunning palette from Urban Decay in the post, which I’ve been lusting over for a very long time. It’s the Naked 3 Palette, as I’m sure most of you have heard of. The palette has the most gorgeous variety of pink toned eye shadows I have ever seen. I don’t go for pinks very often, but now this palette has made me want to wear them so much more as each shade is so wearable, and like all the other Urban Decay palettes, the shadows are of such high quality. This look I’ve created was of course inspired by Valentines Day, which is just around the corner. The soft rose gold lid with a satin pink lip is perfect for a daytime date, maybe even into the evening with the second lip colour I chose. Keep on reading to find out how I got this look!
To start, prime your lids, I used Lorac’s Behind The Scenes Eye Primer. After applying the primer, use the lightest matte pink shade Strange to set the lid and brow bone. Go in with the shade Limit, a baby pink matte, through the crease and blend. For the main lid colour I used the gorgeous metallic rose gold shade in the palette called Trick. I used MAC’s Fix + to dampen my flat eyeshadow brush before application, this really brings out the pigment in the shadow. Next, apply the shade Buzz with the same brush to the centre of the lid to make your eyes that bit more pink and sultry. Use the shade Nooner, a dusky matte mauve through the crease to deepen and define your eyes. To finish I used the lightest baby shimmer pink in the palette, Dust, to highlight the inner corner. I found every shade in the palette to go so well together; I’m in love with it! The second lip colour I went for was a gloss, as it looks so stunning with this eye look. I used Urban Decay’s Lip Gloss in Liar and paired it with the matching Lip Pencil, also called Liar.
