LUSTING OVER LORAC | REVIEW + SWATCHES

When I found out that I could get LORAC Cosmetics shipped to the UK I literally got so excited and went straight for it – and I’m so glad I did, the shipping is so worth it. For my first purchase I went with the two palettes I’ve had my eye on forever, which was the LORAC Pro Palette and Pro Contour Palette. They are as dreamy and pigmented as they look! Order yours from Nordstrom, linked here.

The shadows are very pigmented and finely milled which makes them extremely easy to work with. Not much blending is needed and they stay on all day/night with the Behind The Scenes Eye Primer that comes with the palette. There is a beautiful array of 16 shades, 8 mattes and 8 shimmers, all equally pigmented. I find there is no fall out with any of the shadows, which actually really surprised me because of how finely milled they are!

When purchasing the eye palette I couldn’t resist ordering the contour palette, which also makes the shipping more worthwhile. There are 3 highlighting shades, two that are matte for setting your makeup and one shimmer to use as a highlighter. The 3 contour powders are all good to use for my skin tone, to use for a more natural face or evening glam. However, all skin tones would be suited to one or more powders in the palette – from light to dark skin as they are very blendable and easy to build up.
Both palettes are very travel friendly and come with mirrors so that you can use them on the go.  You can get the palettes for around £33 each – so worth it for the amount of shades and the quality of every shade is so incredible. The only con is that the palettes can get dirty quickly, but they are easy clean to look brand new again.
The mattes – Top L-R

White / Cream / Taupe / Light Pink / Mauve / Sable / Espresso / Black

The shimmers – Bottom L-R
Nude / Champagne / Gold / Light Bronze / Pewter / Garnet / Deep Purple / Sable

Contour palette – L-R

Beige / Yellow / Shimmer / Light Contour / Deep Contour / Medium Contour

The Nordstrom shipping to the UK cost around £20, and that’s inclusive on taxes and any other fees that may occur – very worthwhile if you’re looking to purchase more than one item.
