MAC did good… once again. It’s not very often that I feel to dedicate a whole post to one specific lip duo, but this set really earned its honour. MAC recently launched its collaboration with designer shoe and accessory designer, Charlotte Olympia. A whole range of products aired, but the obvious choice for me was lip products.
There were 3 lipsticks and 2 lip liners, but I was good and held back to choose just one from each selection. My lipstick of choice was, Leading Lady Red, which is a true red matte. To pair I chose the lip liner in He Said, She Said that matches so well with lipstick. It’s slightly darker in colour, and has a burnt effect to it that looks stunning on the lips alone to.
The one thing that got me, and got me good, was the absolutely beautiful packaging. It illustrates Charlotte’s most intricate design of an elegant buying amoxil online spider-web in a gold and clear lattice. The lipstick is in a transparent tube with a gold insert that holds the product. The lip liner’s packaging is traditional of MAC packaging but with gold writing and lid.
Unlike many mattes, the formula of both products is really creamyand easy to apply. They’re transfer and smudge proof, as well as not drying out your lips! After applying both products they lasted throughout the day, only needing to top up in the evening after eating. I’m in absolute awe of the entire range, and for first impressions, I am extremely impressed! The lipstick is £17 and the liner is £16.50.
Most of the range is still available, which you can shop here.
