TRYING NEW BRANDS | FREEDOM MAKEUP

I’ve decided to start a new series on my blog, all about trying new brands, some that are buzzing around social media and some that aren’t so well known. This will be a regular occurrence on here, which I hope you will all enjoy as much as me. I am guilty of being one of those people who sticks to the same brands all the time, but I realised it’s good to mix it up a bit. So, lets get straight into it with the first brand being Freedom Makeup.

Freedom Makeup is fairly new to me; in terms of it being a brand I haven’t seen much of in the drugstore. But after admiring the stand for a few seconds, there was so much I wanted to try.

The first item I had to pick up was an eye shadow palette, as there were so many to choose from, from brights to darks, nudes and mixed. The London Pro 12 palette in Audacious 3 is the perfect mix of nudes and pinks, with both matte and shimmers to choose from. Since my first use of the shadows, I have been really impressed with the pigmentation and longevity of all the shades. It’s important to ensure you have a good base down for the shadows to make sure they last as long as possible, and to prevent the shimmers from creasing. They are also incredibly easy to blend, the darkest shade impressing me the most.

My favourites to wear have been the middle line of shadows, just because you can go as light or intense as you want with them – and they are so me! It’s also buying accutane online such a great drugstore dupe of the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, for just a tiny fraction of the price as this retails for only £4.00.

The product I picked up with no hesitation was the Pro Studio Glycolic Glow Tonic, one that has embraced the beauty scene in shining glory. I simply had to try this after many amazing reviews on social media. This Radiance Glow Tonic is an exfoliating toner that evens out skin tone for brighter and clearer skin. It is the easiest product I’ve ever used, it gives amazing results just after one quick wipe. The Glycolic Acid works to remove dead skin cells to reveal softer and smoother skin, its so worth the £6 and recommend this to anyone looking for a quick solution to brighten your face.

5 lipsticks for £5? Yes please. The Bare Lipstick Collection is the dream for every nude lipstick lover. Although the shades are very similar to one another, you can never have too many nudes. The pack comes with 5 shades, ranging from a light nude to brown. The longevity of the product is impressive for the price, but the pigmentation lacks a little. These work best if you layer on top of a lip liner, which I always do but for those who aren’t liner wearers then that’s just a little heads up. However, the pigmentation didn’t really bother me too much because of the price. They all perform as a sheer matte and the pack would cater to any skin tone.
