For months and months now I’ve pined over the Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer, and now I finally have it! It took me a while as I waited for the right moment for free shipping from Tartecosmetics.com, but it happened and I couldn’t hold back.
This concealer exploded over social media, and I saw it on all of my favourite YouTube channels, so you know the drill, I just had to have it. Now I’ve got it, I can understand the craze. From its name you can tell what the product does, darker shades can contour and lighter shades can highlight your complexion. I went for the shade light-neutral and its perfectly suited to highlight all the high points of my face. Now that I have a highlighting shade, I’m after a contour shade (I just don’t stop – but this is so worth it).
The formula is exactly what I expected, if not better. It’s super creamy and lightweight whilst being a fuller coverage, but at the same time helps your skin appear radiant and more awake. It helps cover dark circles, spots, blemishes and als
I find it to be very hydrating and long-lasting as I get a full days wear out of it, I don’t notice anything wrong after 12+ hours. Powered by Amazonian clay and conditioning mango seed and shea butters, the nutrient-rich concealer helps promote skin elasticity and illumination with each crease-free application. I use a Beauty Blender to apply this and it blends in very easily.
Now for the packaging and applicator. The concealer tube is designed with a pretty patterned top and a clear tube, which I absolutely love. The applicator is a doe foot with a wide surface area, and is definitely bigger than most concealers I’ve used. This is a massive plus as it means you can get the job done a lot quicker.
I am absolutely living for this concealer and already know it’s going to be my absolute favourite until I find one that can beat it. Everything about it I really love and haven’t yet found a single fault with it. Its cruelty free, gluten free and vegan.
They do sell this on qvcuk.com, however there are limited shades which is why I had it shipped from the US as the Tarte site stocks a bigger variety with 14 shades that caters for all skin tones.
