It isn’t very often that I can find a whole handful of products in one go at the drugstore. Sometimes it can be a bit of a struggle to get good colour pay off or good formulations, however I’ve got a whole handful of bits from Rimmel London* that I love to use to get glam.
I love a good palette, and I’m not talking eyes this time around, it’s the Rimmel Kate Sculpting Palette in Coral Glow. This palette contains all the products you need to sculpt and glow, and this shade is suited to many skin tones. The way I use it may be disregarding the steps they give, but I think it gives the best results. I use shade 2 to contour; this is the perfect shade with slight ‘grey’ undertones to hollow out the cheekbones. With any brush you can pick up the right amount of product, and its really finely milled so its super easy to blend out. Next I bronze up with any bronzer of choice and then add the blush, a gorgeous sun kissed coral shade. I love to pack this on as it’s a little light and different to what I normally go for, but this is gorgeous on the skin. Then, I add the highlight shade. To get the most out of this I use a damp highlighting brush, and to dampen I use MAC’s Fix +. I apply it dry first then a layer with a damp brush, and it gives a subtle but pretty glow.
For the eyes we have the Magnif’eyes Eyeshadow Palette in London Nudes Calling, a stunning array of light neutrals and warm shimmers. I think some shades in this palette are great dupes for the Urban Decay buy isotretinoin online Naked 3 palette, and you can create very similar looks for a fraction of the price. The formula of the shadows is really nice, but the pigmentation can take some time to come through if you’re wanting a full glam. But all of the shades are so pretty and great for quick go-to daytime makeup. I often wear the Scandaleyes Bold Liner, a gorgeous glossy liquid liner that lasts all day. Its innovative ball tip applicator gives an intense bold line, so it’s great to use as a subtle liner or a wing and its so easy to apply.
To add a bit of extra drama the Wonder’Full Mascara is amazing for length and volume. It gives an extreme black finish and doesn’t transfer, as many other types of mascara can do. The only thing I wish was that it wasn’t a plastic applicator, but it works just as well as a few of my other drugstore favourites. Its thin tip is perfect for the bottom lashes and getting in those hard to get places.
Then for lips we have the oh-so gorgeous Kate Lipstick in Boho Nude 56. This is a brown nude, my absolute favourite. Its also in beautiful rose gold packaging, could it be more perfect? The formula of the lipstick is really lightweight and hydrating and has a satin finish. It’s got really nice subtle pigment, and I think would be perfect for those who don’t like super bold lips. The pointed tip of the lipstick makes it really easy to draw on and means you don’t have to wear a liner.
With this range you can go full glam or daytime and is perfect to take on the go with you.
