I’m sure you’ll agree that with any skin type, we all love a hydration boost. There’s nothing better than your skin feeling well nourished and cared for, and for me nothing is more helpful than a good skincare product. I love a good multi-tasking product, and the Mario Badescu Facial Spray is just that.
I’d been after this product for quite a while; it is more often than not sold out online, which just confirmed one thing to me before purchasing, that it’s amazing. Thankfully, I came across a whole bunch of them in Urban Outfitters whilst I was in New York, so the right thing to do was to pick one up. Since getting it, I’ve used it everyday for many different things, and I’m so happy with the results so far.
It’s infused with aloe herbs and rosewater, which results in hydrated and refreshed skin. Its suitable for all skin types and has so many uses. The main thing I use it for is as a skincare step, in that I use it after I’ve applied my moisturiser. It adds that extra boost of hydration my skin craves, and as it’s so gentle on the skin you can use this as many times as you wish. I love to top up throughout no makeup days.
Alternatively, you can use this as a makeup setting spray, which I’ve tried and tested. I’m an avid user of MAC’s Fix + and don’t usually branch out to try many others, but this was really impressive used as a setting spray. Its really lightweight so doesn’t affect your makeup, which I am always a bit worried of. Some I’ve tried has made it just wet or sticky, which is never fun after taking ages on it. It held really well and lasted as long as the MAC one. The only difference is, the MAC one seems to give an extra flawless finish, I don’t know if anyone else feels the same, but the Mario Badescu spray holds just as well.
As it’s a true multi-tasker, you can always use this on your hair, not just your face. If you suffer with dry hair, lightly spritz this all over for a light moisturising mist. I do this now after a hair wash once it’s fully dry as an extra step as it helps hold the moisture for that bit longer that I need.
Whether you’re new to facial sprays or love them as much as I do, this is a definite must to try out. The spray is also cruelty and paraben free. It’s available in Urban Outfitters and Beauty Bay.
