The nights are lighter and the sun is starting to make an ever so slight appearance, which means one thing, Spring days are on their way. Spring makeup is sometimes one of the prettiest of all the seasons, as it means all the super cute shades come out and more minimal makeup makes a come back. Blushers are something I love to experiment with more in Spring than any other time of the year, simply because there are so many that suit this season. Want to see my favourites?
If you’re one for a subtle peachy flush, MAC’s Mineralize Blush in Warm Soul is my go to. This is one I like to wear with gold toned makeup and I think it compliments it really well. I got this product a very long time ago and is still one I use a lot today, which just says how good it is. MAC Mineralize products never disappoint me, I really want to try some more of these. I’ve never seen one quite like this shade.
My current favourite is the latest release by Benefit, the GALifornia blush, and everyday I use it I just dream of being on holiday. Spring time gets me so excited for the coming warmer months, and this blush is doing just the same. Its gorgeous mix of pink and gold gives the most stunning flush of colour to the cheeks. This compliments so many makeup looks, and gives a really order ventolin inhaler online nice rosy pop as well as a little bit of shimmer, which I think works really well for the brighter days. I have a full blog post on this little beaut here.
For something a little more affordable but works just like a mid to high end product, is the Milani Powder Blush, and my favourite shade for the coming season is Romantic Rose, the perfect pop of pink. This delicate product is pretty in the compact, but even prettier on the face. It’s a matte pink, not too intense and gives a gorgeous natural radiance. It’s the perfect for Spring, and looks so gorgeous over foundation without any bronzer for a flattering natural pop of colour. Also, unlike other drugstore blushes I’ve used, a little goes a long way with this product.
If you like an all-matte blush, the Rodial Blush range would be your choice out of this Spring Blush Edit. My favourite shade is South Beach, which isn’t a colour I would normally go for. It’s a light pink, which I thought wouldn’t agree with my skin tone, but I was so wrong. When applied to the face it somehow transforms into a really pretty pop of radiance and isn’t so light. I think this shade in particular from the range would look incredible on paler skin tones, the formula is super finely milled and so natural.
Do you have any blush picks for the coming Spring weeks?
