Now that I’m getting more and more into skincare, it’s important I don’t let it become an overly expensive addiction. In my eyes, no matter the price of the product, I’m only going to use it if it does what it says and works wonders for me, and that goes for makeup and hair care to. Whether a product is £5 or £50, if the cheaper one gives better results I’m obviously going to use that one right?
Indeed Labs* are a skincare brand that offer high quality products for really affordable prices, and I’m all for that. They’re a brand I’ve seen a lot of on social media for a long time and never got around to trying the range for myself. They have such a huge selection of products, from serums, moisturisers, balms and so much more, so I was always quite overwhelmed with what to try first. Now I’ve tried a couple of products I am so intrigued and want to try more. I’m all for smoother looking skin and products that can improve my skins texture and thats exactly what I’ve found. So, want to see what I’ve been trying?
Nanoblur* is the product that stormed into the market and put the the brand into the position they are in today. It was released in 2011 and changed the game for innovative HD skincare made for high-resolution cameras, and they’ve delivered next generation products since. It was the first ever skin blurring cream that gave flawless, photo ready skin within seconds.
This is a real life skin-changing product that I’m so happy I’ve added to my skincare routine. The product uses optical prism technology that gives your skin a naturally airbrushed finish within 30 seconds – fancy, right? This by no means is a primer for your makeup, instead can be used as the last step in your skincare routine, mixed in with your moisturiser or blotted on top of liquid makeup. Once applied, the micro-prisms reflect light, which enhances that smoothing effect on the skin. I find this works wonders on my pores to, it seems to diffuse them and smooth’s any small imperfections, which in turn gives me more confidence to go out makeup free. This is such a treat to use every morning, whether or not I’m applying makeup!
Another bestseller of Indeed Labs is the Retinol Reface*, a longer lasting smoothing product. Retinol is a product I’ve never used before and never thought much about. Although it’s primarily used as an anti-aging defence, there are many other beneficial properties for younger skin. It works to smooth skin texture and make the skin appear fuller and softer. I like to use this of an evening now, usually everyday or every other day. It’s quite new to me but I’ve been really enjoying it the past month or so, and I tend to use it just after cleansing my skin. It’s sure made its way into my daily evening skincare routine. Most Retinol products can irritate the skin, however the Retinol Reface uses 3 forms of retinol that offers a slow release and works hours after you’ve applied it, instead of giving an intense treatment that can dry out your skin.
These products have a real lightweight feel to them, so if you like to mix products in with your moisturiser then go for it. They’ve both improved the texture of my skin, whilst smoothing and blurring imperfections. The Retinol Reface has longer lasting results, but if you’re into flawless skin that you want to last all day then the Nanoblur is my top pick.
The range is available to purchase in-store and online at Boots.
