Excuse the face, I’m about to tell you all why I look like this. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have already seen this (lucky you!). I’m not going to lie; I am a sucker for a glow. Although, bearing that in mind, I hadn’t used a fake tan product in about 2 years. When I was a bit younger I used to fake tan all the time and I guess I got a bit fed up with it. I even wore it throughout summer and never let a real tan come through! But, times have changed. Let me tell you why.
After the past 2 years or so without touching a fake tan product, I’m actually starting to come to terms with using them again. I’ve been testing out a few and discovered something really interesting that I’ve never seen anything quite like it on the market before. That is the St Tropez Self Tan Express Sheet Mask*. Yes, you read that right, a tanning sheet mask. I’m all for sheet masks, I feel like I’m having a mini at home spa experience when I use them and with this one you get a bronze glow at the same time to.
Whether you like a natural glow or a full on tan, you can get either with this. The sheet mask works to your liking, as the longer you leave it on the darker it gets. For a natural tan, which just gives your skin a bit of a lift and adds a dewy glow, you leave it on for just 5 minutes, which is what I did. 5 minutes to get summer glowy skin? Incredible I know. If you prefer a deeper tanned face you can leave it on for up to 15 minutes.
To apply you simply cleanse your skin and pat dry, unfold the mask and apply it to your face making sure its all smoothed to the skin and leave for your desired time. When you remove the mask you don’t even need to wash your face, just massage in the excess serum into your face and neck if you wish. The serum doesn’t continue to tan your skin; it works to add moisture and lock in the glow. These come in a pack of two and you can purchase them here.
It’s honestly so easy and if like me you like a true natural summer glow I feel this can give you more of a healthy finish than most other face masks.
