My favourite thing to do, as well as drink soy chai tea lattes, is to have some me time. Real me time doesn’t actually happen too often, as I’m always getting my head caught up in other not-so-fun ‘adulting’ things.

As much as anyone else, I had been craving some serious TLC and nothing better than a good old spa treatment to cheer me right up and get me feeling back to my old self.

You may have seen on my socials that recently I was very kindly treated to a spa treatment of my choice by Sanderson in their agua Spa, one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever visited in London.

The quirky 5-star West End boutique hotel is located just off of Oxford Street on Berners Street, and honestly you’d never think it. Just one step onto the road its located on, you’re surrounded with peace and quiet, and it really doesn’t feel like you’re smack bang in the centre and hustle and bustle of the city, which is how I think it should be. A hotel stay is all about peace and relaxation isn’t it? Then, if you do want to be back in the busy streets and shopping heaven, it’s literally a 3-minute walk back onto Oxford Street, so a pretty ideal location if you ask me. And, you get the best of both worlds.

Anyway, enough about that, you’re here to read about the beautiful spa indulgence right?

I was in two minds as to whether to go for a massage (as I seriously need it) or a facial. But, as soon as I saw there was an Eve Lom Facial Experience, I was pretty much sold. I’ve been using the Eve Lom Cleanser recently and was dying to try out more. The cleanser makes my skin feel incredible so of course I wanted to know what a whole facial using the products would make my skin feel like.

When I walked out of the lift into the agua Spa, I instantly felt zen. There was nothing but quietness, I’m pretty sure you could probably hear a pin drop. We were greeted and sat down in their chill out zone, a room of made up of white lengthy chaise lounge chairs, tall ceilings and beautifully thought out flower decor. I now have the idea that I want a huge still water piece with floating petals on the top, just like they did. It was so calming to look at and made the most gorgeous centrepiece. Everything was so intricate, still and peaceful, I never wanted to leave.

The changing rooms were the same. Quiet, glamorous and full of lush white decor, just how a spa should be.

What I loved most and made me feel like I’d died and gone to heaven was the ‘walls’. I say that in inverted commas as they weren’t real walls but white mesh fabric curtains hanging from ceilings to separate each room, and they are so high you can hardly see the top. It kinda felt like I was floating on the clouds, especially after the treatment.

As I say, I went for the Eve Lom Experience, a 90-minute facial including a décolletage, neck, shoulder and arm massage. I can’t put it into any other words than to say it was pure bliss. 90 minutes of solid relaxation that I would love to relive right about now.

Before the facial my masseuse, Sandy, talked me through what the facial will include and talked me through the Eve Lom products she will be using. When she said the treatment involved a hot wax peel I think my eyes lit up. I’ve never experienced anything like it. It was like getting a new layer of skin, one without dry patches, blemishes and dullness.

The treatment began with an exfoliation of the face and décolletage area with the well-known Eve Lom Cleanser. This product is so gentle on the skin; it almost feels like a fine sugar scrub and is infused with Egyptian Chamomile Oil, Clove Oil and Cocoa Butter that smells so delicious and fresh.

This was then followed by the hot wax treatment as mentioned above and then the extraction began. Quite honestly, I didn’t think I’d enjoy this part. I’m a bit squeamish with spot popping squeezing any kinda junk from the face (excuse the tmi), but it was so enjoyable. After the treatment my skin felt 99% spot and blackhead free, which I don’t think I’ve ever felt before. I seriously want to get extraction done more often now, it’s amazing what a difference it can make.

After the hot wax and extraction Sandy moved on to the décolletage area, massaging the top of my chest followed by my neck and shoulders, and then my arms and hands for a good 15 minutes or so. I believe this is what sent me into that sleepy mode that happened not long after the cooling facemask was applied. When the cooling mask was applied to my face, I was left for around 5-10 minutes to relax and let the goodness soak into my skin. Although I say 5-10 minutes, I have to admit, I was so relaxed I fell asleep whilst the mask was on. The masseuse came back in the room and I didn’t realise until she started to remove the mask with warm cloths. I mean, that’s a sign of a good facial right?

Each time a new product was removed, it was taken off by the most amazing cleansing sponges which I now regret not asking about. They were almost fluffy in texture whilst exfoliating at the same time.

It’s honestly so hard to put into words how amazing the treatment was. I don’t know why, it’s just I need people to experience it so they can understand the true meaning of relaxation.

After the treatment I was taken to a relaxation pod, where I was soon greeted by the staff and brought some delicious food. I chose the Supergrain Salad with chicken and the Super Greens smoothie. A very green lunch indeed, but it was the perfect choice after such a peaceful treatment.

I left the Eve Lom Experience feeling as zen as ever with the softest skin, full of goodness and super happy. The signs of a much needed and successful pamper session I think.

Thank you so much to agua Spa and the Sanderson for having me. I will definitely be back!

You can check out this treatment as well as the others agua Spa have to offer here.

What would be your choice of a zen spa treatment?

Luxurious bath products are something I don’t use very often. As much as I’d love to use them every single day, I like to keep them to pamper myself. I don’t know about you but I just love a good pamper in the bath, as it allows me to get some down time and is the perfect excuse to zone out. I typically do this once a week or so depending on how I feel and let me tell you about some products I’ve been using lately.

Ted Baker recently launched their Porcelain Rose Collection*, a beautiful array of bath and body care products that scream summer to me. There are 3 different and new pretty ranges to choose from, Pretty Pearl, Opulent Petal and Blush Pink, and with this there is a fragrance to suit every one – cute right? I’ve been lusting over the Blush Pink range* that boasts beautiful bath and body care products.

This particular fragrance is full of floral notes and is also entwined with subtle notes of cassis with sparkling grapefruit, mandarin and mango. It honestly smells like a summer holiday cocktail, so much so that is has me dreaming of a sunny holiday every time I use it. It also has musky undertones of patchouli, neroli and jasmine, which adds sophistication to the scent.

The Blush Pink products are available individually or in a gift set. Here, I have the gift set that contains 3 out of the 7 beautiful Blush Pink products. First up is my absolute buy amoxicillin without rx favourite product, the Body Wash. I do love a good luxurious body wash and this one not only smells amazing, it leaves your skin incredibly soft and hydrated. After the bath I lather on the Body Soufflé, a whipped and lightweight body moisturiser that locks in hydration from the Body Wash and leaves your skin silky smooth. This combination is heaven after you’ve shaved your legs to! Once I’m all cosy in my PJ’s I spritz the Body Spray on me. This is so fine it’s almost like a body mist and leaves your skin lingering with the most gorgeous floral cocktail scent. I always feel so glamorous after using this, and I also use this throughout the day sometimes to for a freshen up.

What’s even better about this range is that its super luxurious yet affordable. The rose gold detailing on the products gives the range that luxurious feel even though it’s such a reasonable price. Prices range from £3-9 for single products up to £25 for gorgeous gift sets.

This gift set also comes with the most beautiful travel size beauty bag. I’ve been after a sturdy beauty bag for sometime so that I can transport all my goodies and this is the perfect size. It’s coated with a silky fabric that adds such class to the bag and its design is stunning.

You can purchase this along with the other ranges online and in-store at Boots.

Happy Sunday lovelies, welcome back to Skincare Sunday. Today I’m talking to you about my first impressions of a new brand I’ve been trying out as lately, I’m all about testing new skincare brands. I’ve incorporated a lot of new brands and types of products into my Spring Skincare Routine and now after testing Decleor* I’ve incorporated even more. It’s a brand I’ve never really heard much of until the past few months or so, just because I’ve never been into skincare as much as I am now. They cater for a whole range of skin types and problems, and I’m giving you my first thoughts on the products I’ve been trying out that are incredible for my skin.

My favourite product from the few I’m trying is the Aromessence Neroli Amara Hydrating Oil Serum. It’s probably the most hydrating oil serum I’ve ever used that doesn’t make your face greasy. This is perfect to wear after a day of wearing heavy makeup as it instantly nourishes and brightens the skin. It’s non greasy and shine free. To get the best results, warm up 3 drops in your fingertips and apply to your face and neck.

Aurabsolu Intense Glow For Eyes has been a saviour for the days my eyes are super dark. It delivers an instant brightening effect to your eyes as it targets dullness and dark circles. The formula is also so cooling and hydrating, which is dreamy when you’ve not had much sleep. It’s stimulated with caffeine to improve the brightness under your eyes, and contains vitamins B3 and CG to protect the eye area. It smells really summery to which is perfect right now!

For makeup removal we have the Decleor Micellar Oil. This claims to be the worlds-first revolutionary cleanser that uses a mix of both oil and water to remove and cleanse the skin at the same time – pretty cool! I love this for many reasons, one being you can remove all of your buy amoxicillin online makeup with just your hands. You pump it into your hands and massage, then follow with a warm water rinse. If it doesn’t emulsify enough for you, you simply add a few drops of water after you’ve massaged it in. It dissolves all makeup so quick and it’s enriched with Almond Oil that helps strengthen and soothe the skin. I find this really calming on my skin, especially followed with the oil serum.

I have to be honest, I didn’t ever use SPF everyday. It used to be the case of just using it when on holiday or in the summer, but using the Hydra Floral SPF30 Hydrating Fluid has really helped me get into the routine. I’ve learnt that pollution and stress can really take a toll on your skin and this protects you from that. This is a fresh and transparent fluid that leaves the skin feeling nourished and comfortable whilst protecting it at the same time. I usually apply this straight after cleansing and it’s so lightweight it’s fine to apply both this and your moisturiser. It’s also a great skin plumper as it contains hyaluronic acid, perfect for those dull skin days!

Another product I’ve Been Loving and have to get more of is the Aurabsolu Instant Glow Mask, I do indeed love a good sheet mask. This one instantly soothes and gives a radiant healthy complexion infused with essential oils and Jasmin Absolute. I love this for when my skin is feeling super stressed or showing signs of tiredness. It brings your skin back to life and feels so relaxing.

I absolutely love Decleor’s ‘Be A Barefaced Beauty’ message to, it’s so important in today’s era of beauty lovers as it’s we all should our barefaced and natural beauty more often. These products are great for that, and are great for a pamper routine. The products are super luxurious, from the formula to the packaging.

What are your favourite skincare products for being barefaced?

Looking after my skin is fast becoming a priority, I admit I used to be not fully into it, or lazy for that matter. However, since the colder weather has bombarded us I’ve been more into skincare than ever before. My favourite part of my beauty routine is exfoliating my skin; both body and face, so here are my favourites.

More often than not I opt for a lighter scrub, one with a fruity scent and light exfoliation beads. My absolute favourite for this is the Origins GinZing Refreshing Scrub Cleanser, which is a super lightweight scrub that smells like citrusy heaven. For a more intense exfoliation, one for a pamper session or a long week is the Clinique Pep Start 2-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser. This has slightly larger beads that also work to break down makeup. Although the beads are larger, both are as kind to the skin.

For a soft cleanser and one to cleanse as well as take off your makeup is the Eve Lom Cleanser. Its formulation is super light and contains Clove Oil and Egyptian Chamomile Oil that work to encourage clear skin and soften and soothe. You can remove this with a warm damp muslin cloth or flannel. Takes seconds to break down your makeup. If you love an intense scrub then I love the Magnitone Full Monty Brush. This 3-in-1 skincare brush deep-cleanses, tones and buffs the skin (both face and body). This is fab for in and out of the shower, and leaves buy cheap accutane usa your skin super soft and clear. For my face I use this 2-3 times a week, and tend to use harder vibrations for those days my skin just isn’t doing its thing. This particular brush was part of their Limited Edition Summer Collection, but there are so many other beautiful designs and colours. The Full Monty comes with 3 brush heads and 5 modes, so you can have anything from a light to intense scrub.

Speaking of multi-taskers, I love the Lush Let The Good Times Roll Exfoliating Scrub. This is much more of an intense scrub with bigger beads, and you can use this anywhere on your face and body. If you love gorgeous smells, this is your winner. It smells like sweet popcorn and it leaves your skin smelling amazing as well as feeling refreshed. I love to use this and remove with a warm flannel when I’m giving myself a ‘Lush pamper night’. My favourite lip scrub of the moment is also by Lush, it’s their Sugar Plum Fairy scrub, part of the Holiday Collection. It’s a purple scrub enriched with Caster Sugar, Organic Jojoba Oil and Sweet Wild Orange Oil, which gives off the most amazing sweet scent. I use this daily as I’m an avid liquid lipstick wearer, and it makes your lips as good as new. It smells so good you could eat it.

What products do you use for a good exfoliation?
