If like me you’re sad to say goodbye to summer and not you’re ready to leave the glow behind, I’ve got your back. Well, Iconic London have got your back.

Fresh summer makeup is for sure one of my favourite things. Some days I’d simply wear highlighter and mascara and leave it at that. Of all the base products I’d have to say that highlighting is my favourite part and is one of the steps I could never miss out.

Liquid highlighter drops used to terrify me, I have to admit. The beauty gurus of YouTube and Instagram made them look so easy and effortless to use and I never thought I’d get the same finish. But, I was so wrong.

Iconic London’s Limited Edition Illuminator Drops* have been my saviour this summer and will sure be staying right by my side throughout the colder months to.

On a regular basis throughout the summer, I’d just pop these drops on top of a primer across the high points of my face and that would be my face makeup done. My favourite places to use these are my cheekbones, brow bone and cupids bow. I sometimes use them on my collarbones if I’m going full glam because quite frankly, why the heck not!

Full glam or minimal, highlighter always makes an appearance.

Whether you’re using the drops with minimal makeup or not, you only need just a few drops to get that highly pigmented popping glow. A little really goes a long way with these. It would be easy to get carried purchase accutane online away but you could turn into a beaming sunshine (not that I’d complain).

Not only can you use this on its own to get a super highlighted glow, you can use this in your foundation, primer and moisturiser. I love the glowiest of all glows so I tend to use this by itself. My favourite way to apply it is straight from the pipet applicator to the high points on my face. Then, I blend the product in a little with my fingertip before blending in smoothly with my Beautyblender.

The pipet applicator is actually one of the things about the product that I love. It makes application so quick and easy, and it also helps control the amount you apply. It feels a bit scary at first putting it up to your face but when you’ve done it once, its so simple and really makes highlighting a breeze.

I’m so glad this little gem has made its way into my life so I don’t have to wave goodbye to the summer glow too soon, if ever.

Iconic London have 3 shades of the illuminator, mine is in original, which is a champagne toned golden shine. The other two shades are for either lighter or deep skin tones. You can shop the range here.

What is your favourite illuminator for a glow?

For me, the summer months are all about minimal effort. By that I mean in the skincare, makeup and hair department. I still like to make an effort, but I like a quicker routine and that means products that can give maximum results with minimal effort.

The August Edition* of the Glossybox speaks to me on so many levels. As soon as I saw the front of the box had ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Sun’ written across the front, I knew I was going to love what was inside. Fun in the sun? Count me in.

With this months box being all about girls wanting to have fun in the sun, I’ve certainly found some new summertime beauty favourites. Warmer weather means easy effortless looks are out in full force and that is so easy to achieve with the goodies inside the August edit. This months box includes 6 treats that focus on maintaining fresh hair, a summer glow and effortless makeup. Let’s dive in.

First things first, if you like a refreshing skin treat then I need to tell you about the Sport FX Time Out Face Mist + Fix. Whether I’m makeup free or have a full face on, this little gem has been coming everywhere with me. This soothing face mist can be a replacement for your primer, worn over the top of your makeup to control oil levels or worn on bare skin for a quick refresh. I find this perfect to pop into my bag as its the perfect travel size bottle. Sometimes I even bring this to the gym with me so my face can withstand the heat, and its so lightweight and quick to dry so perfect to cool you down in seconds. The formula contains a menthol essence, which has a cooling effect and is now a must-have when working out. It’s also vegan friendly!

Next is a product I can never have too many of in my beauty collection. It’s a dry shampoo. Yes I can be lazy with washing my hair, but who isn’t? Especially during the summer months.

This is the Batiste 2-in-1 Invisible Dry Shampoo & Conditioner, a favourite of mine for a long time and I’m so glad I’ve now got it in a travel size. Batiste have gone to the next level with this formula, making it not only a god send for giving your hair a refresh like a shampoo does, but now also conditions your hair and targets dryness. This one doesn’t leave that white/grey residue like some others can AND it smells like luscious vanilla and passionflower – yum! I spray this all over the hair, not too much on the roots and then massage and work through. After just 10 seconds or so, I’m good to go. No washing and faffing needed (just how I like it).

If you love a good in-bath hair treat then the Valquer Ice Hair Mask may tickle your fancy. This hair mask is like no other I’ve used before as its an energising mask for the hair generic amoxil that has a ‘cooling effect’, which claims to power up the macadamia oil, which then makes it better at hydrating your hair. It does indeed have a cooling sensation on the scalp that I find really calming if I pop it on whilst in the bath. You apply this to damp hair (not soaking wet), so I let mine dry for a good 15 to 20 minutes before applying and leave it to be absorbed for 3 to 5 minutes to work its magic.

A little added extra in this months box is a ‘no-dent’ hairband from Purelei, a brand I’ve never heard of but so glad I’ve got my hands on one of these. It’s blue and gold design with ‘Aloha’ written across the band is so summery and it’s doing well at keeping my hair out of my face, that’s for sure! The beautiful thing about these are that when you put your hair down it doesn’t leave that huge kink that us girls dread.

Now onto makeup (always my favourite part)…

Glossybox are always introducing me to either new brands or new products from brands I already love. This month they have introduced me to ModelLauncher and their Safari Sun Bronzer. I find that summer makeup is all about bronzy skin, so this is the perfect product to get your hands on. This is a talc-free, mineral-enriched formula that is so natural and lightweight on the skin. I find it works best to mix all of the shades together and buff it all over the areas the sun would naturally hit (the cheek bones, bridge of the nose, forehead and chin). It contains shimmer throughout so if you prefer a matte bronzer, this may not be your cup of tea. However, I’m all about glowing skin and this is perfect to dust over the top of makeup or bare skin to give you that natural sun kissed look.

This bronzer works a treat for minimal makeup to if you like a bit of a glow without too much product.

Last but not least, a product I’ve been introduced to is the Suede Lips by Rodial. I’m already a huge fan of Rodial makeup so I was excited to try a lip product of theirs. Suede Lips is an intense matte lip crayon that is so easy for on the go. Although it’s a matte finish, its creamy and enriched with vitamin E so it hydrates the lips whilst you wear it. Its pointed tip gives you a precise application for the lip line, then I fill the rest of the lips in with the flatter edge. Mine is in the shade Big Apple, a really gorgeous deep dusky mauve pink.

You can take a sneak peek into what Glossybox do and sign up for your own box subscription here.

What product would you like to try out?’

I think its safe to say that the British summer is failing quite miserably this year isn’t it? We had a few very hot days and not much else since, apart from grey cloud, some rain and miserable ol’ wind. I must admit, I am quite the sun worshipper so when the sun disappears I get very sad and don’t want to face the colder weather. Trust me when I say if I could live in a hot climate all year round, I really would.

This year in particular I just seem to crave sun and the glow that comes with it all the time. As the British sun is hiding away, I’ve been having to make and fake that sun kissed glow myself and I’ve managed to pull through so far with a little help from some Too Faced goodies.

Too Faced really are a saving grace when it comes to feel good makeup. Many of my daily makeup picks are from Too Faced and I have indeed made a few new favourites over the past month or so. When the summer hit, (well, those very few days we did get treated to) I knew it wasn’t going to last forever, so I’ve added these products into my routine so I never have to let go of that summer makeup feel.

Admittedly, I am a bit of a bronzer fiend. I love tanned skin all throughout the year and the Too Faced Endless Summer 16 Hour Bronzer really ticks all of the boxes for my sun kissed cravings. This has the perfect warm bronze hue to it that I love to wear all over the face, sometimes even on my chest, which really makes you feel like you’ve been away somewhere hot. Its pigment is quite perfect and I like to apply it with a large fluffy brush to make it appear more natural, like I have a bronzed buy priligy generic flush. I’m also a huge fan of the Chocolate Soleil Bronzer when I like to add a bit of contour as that has slightly greyer undertones. The 16 Hour Long-Wear is a lot warmer toned, which gives me that glow that I crave.

Adding to the ‘not willing to let go of summer’ theme, one I’ve been obsessed with is the Waterproof Better Sex Mascara. I am a huge fan of the original Better Than Sex, so I was very intrigued by what this version could offer. To be quite honest, I don’t usually get on with waterproof mascaras as they can be so difficult to remove, but this one has worked a dream. It performs in the same way the original does (which is bloody brilliant in my books), in that it gives long fluffy full natural lashes AND its super easy to remove. The only difference is, the waterproof version obviously doesn’t budge when your lashes get wet (very suitable to this wet weather we’re having here in the UK). See what I mean? I just need products to let this summer even feel present!

For the summer, there’s nothing I love more than a juicy glossy lip and for that I’ve been using their Sweet Peach Creamy Lip Gloss Oil in Papa Don’t Peach. This is a medium copper toned peach gloss. If you love brown lips then I highly recommend this to you. These lip-gloss oils are so comfortable to wear, highly pigmented and incredibly long lasting. I love that these feel hydrating instead of sticky and irritating, especially for when the wind gets up!

Guys and girls, I’m really not willing to let go of summer, are you?!

Hello lovelies and welcome back to a new post. Gosh it feels so weird having a little break from it all but it was much needed. After I came back from holiday I started job hunting and trying to get back on track, and with daily blogging straight for over 6 and a half months, I think I just needed a little time away. It’s helped me find my motivation and mojo again, so it was all worth it.

I’m back with a new travel/fashion post. Whilst I was away and during the past weeks off, I’ve thought a lot about switching up my content more and sharing more about me and what I love as well as beauty. Fashion and travel are becoming huge passions of mine to and I have so many ideas it’s quite motivating. Changing up my content is something I’ve been thinking about for a while and I hope you enjoy it. Now, let’s get into it.

A few weeks back I embarked on my first ever trip to the Caribbean. It’s a destination I always thought I was far off from being able to travel to, but when we found the perfect trip to the Dominican Republic it just had to be ours. We stayed at Excellence El Carmen in Punta Cana, a 5-star luxury resort that was far away from everything, which in my opinion is pure paradise. When I travel I like to get lost in myself and relax, explore and soak it all up. Since finishing University in May I’ve needed an escape from it all and this was my treat for surviving the past 3 years and coming out with a degree!

Our hotel was located right on a private beach, so to my liking much of the trip was spent relaxing by the ocean or the pool.

However, as I said I do love to explore. For a day trip we decided to head out and visit Samana, a mountainous buy cheap ventolin online terrain located on the northeastern Atlantic coast of the island. In this part of the island, we spent the morning travelling to Samana on a Catamaran, visiting a local plantation farm and trekking through the jungle on horseback to a beautiful waterfall – all of which I’ll be writing a separate post on as it was an experience I HAVE to share in great detail. It was just insane. I never thought i’d horseback in the Caribbean let alone through a jungle?!

From there on we headed to Bacardi Island, also known as Cayo Levantado, a teeny tiny remote island with stunning turquoise waters and white sand beaches. When we hopped off the Catamaran and stepped foot on the island I thought I’d died and gone to heaven. The island was so quiet and unpopulated it really was true paradise. After dipping into the blue waters and soaking up the sun we decided to fly the drone and take a look at the surroundings, which by the way totally blew my mind. Once the drone had flown up just a few seconds the entire island was in shot, putting into perspective how remote it really is.

I could honestly live on a remote island like Cayo Levantado as I was seriously in my element and didn’t want to leave. Fresh coconuts and constant sunshine? Yes please. Living in swimwear wouldn’t be too bad either, better than having to wear jumpers and sweats throughout our British summer ay?

This bikini I managed to get my hands on was a lifesaver for this trip. Not only was it a complete bargain, it felt so luxurious and complimenting. I’ve never felt so comfortable in swimwear as I have with this. You can find it (and similar pieces) below.

Want to see and hear more about my tropical vacation? Stay tuned!

What is paradise to you?

Summer holiday makeup is actually one of my favourite. It’s effortless, quick and so much easier when you’ve got a bit of a tan. I also find that when you’re away, you don’t want to spend all evening getting ready, you want to go out enjoy, explore and relax. Of an evening I generally go for a quick and effortless look, and I definitely like to keep my base as minimal as possible.

No matter whether I’m wearing foundation or powders I always make sure I put a primer on. Even if I’m going bare faced I usually put a primer on in the evening just to keep my skin extra hydrated. If you want to diminish the skins oil levels in the heat, my top pick would be Benefit’s Porefessional as it not only mattifies the skin but keeps your skin look flawless and oil-free all evening. It seems to smooth out the skins texture to, which is perfect if you do choose to not wear face makeup. I tend to go in the opposite direction on holiday and want even more of a glow, so my favourite is the L’Oreal Lumi Magique Primer. This primer acts as the perfect base for a dewy look and adds an insane ‘lit-from-within’ glow that looks so pretty on holiday. This doesn’t necessarily make your skin more oily, it just adds luminosity and can also just be worn on the high points of the face if you want minimal makeup with a dreamy glow.

For the base I don’t ever wear foundation. I find it too heavy and sticky in the heat and after the first few days my foundation never matches anyway. All I do for liquid based coverage products is a concealer to either hide my dark circles or spot conceal. This year I’m taking with me my trust Urban Decay Naked Concealer, which is the perfect match for my skin tone and adds medium to full coverage whilst sinking into the skin and looking invisible to the eye. Honestly, you don’t look like you’re even wearing any makeup with this on.

To bronze and glow I use the Chanel Tan De Soleil, which is a cream based bronzer. I tend to use this in the areas I usually contour, so cheekbones, buy priligy 30mg jawline and forehead just to add a little glow. The creaminess of this product works so well with bare skin and appears so natural. You can build this up if you want to as well without it feeling or looking cakey. To get that natural finish I apply it with a Stippling Brush and lightly sweep it across the chosen areas in circular motions. For a glow I always use a liquid formula as I feel holiday skin is always a lot more dewy/oily so a liquid glow sits really well on the skin. I switch between two, one a cheaper alternative to the other. This year I’ll be taking my Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops in Sunlight, a warm golden bronze glow as they work amazing with tanned skin. A drugstore alternative is the Primark Strobe Cream, which come in a variation of shades. These aren’t as long lasting but are so dewy and make the skin pop. They also work as a great base for powder highlighters.

To make the eyes pop I pop on a little bit of mascara. My holy grail for fast volume and length is the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. Many of you may have heard of this before, but I needed to share it. If you love the ‘false lash effect’ then you’ll love this. It’s the perfect solution for quick makeup as it gives instant results.

For the lips I always opt for a gloss when doing quick vacation makeup. A gloss is not only easy to top up but looks so effortless with minimal makeup. A favourite of mine for this are Too Faced Sweet Peach Lip Gloss Oils, as they’re hydrating, long lasting and so comfortable to wear. They don’t give that sticky feeling either; instead they make your lips look juicy and full of life.

And that concludes my 5-minute vacation makeup, which I’m pretty sure will end up being my evening routine on holiday! There’s nothing better than fast makeup so you can get out of the hotel room, eat all the food and drink all the cocktails is there?

What makeup do you usually go for when you’re away?

With a flawless base being a must in my makeup routine, the right products are essential. I used to be one for a full coverage base, but now I like to go as light as possible whilst being dewy, flawless and effortless. Minimal makeup is my favourite for the warmer weather, but having base products that can take you from minimal to max glam is always a win.

I’m quite enjoying wearing just concealer at the minute, and with Benefit recently re-designing their Boi-ing Concealer range*, I’ve now got everything I need for that love. The new products come in the prettiest packaging I’ve ever laid my eyes on. As soon as I saw it, I needed it. I’ve never tried their concealer before, so this post is a bit of a first impressions and insight into the newly designed concealers. Whether you prefer light minimal makeup or full glam, I’ve got something for you.

Benefit really do go all out on their packaging. I mean, just look… *tonnes of heart eye emoji’s).

Let’s start with where it all began, the orginal Boi-ing Industrial Strength Concealer. This is a product I’ve wanted to put to the test for the longest time, as so many beauty gurus rave about it. If you love a full coverage concealer that works its wonders are hiding even the heaviest duty dark circles and blemishes whilst being invisible to the eye, then you’ll love this. Not only is this formula unbelievably creamy and easy to blend, it stays put all day long without creasing – that’s a big thing for a full coverage concealer! I can really on this beauty if I’m heading out for a full day, as I know it’ll last and I don’t need to worry. I tend to use this under the eyes to hide my much loathed (and very) dark circles and also to spot conceal as it disappears and covers everything with a matte skin-like finish.

If you’re all about an airbrushed finish and only have a few imperfections you wish to hide, I highly recommend the Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer. This is lighter weight that the original and also gives a sheer to medium coverage, depending on how much you build it. I like this for makeup free or minimal days because of its soft-focus virtually undetectable finish. Although this has incredible staying power, I do pop this one in my handbag as its great for touch ups throughout the day if you need it. I think this one is my personal favourite, due to its super doxycycline 100mg buy lightweight feel and effortless airbrushed finish.

For those who like or only need a very light sheer coverage, the Boi-ing Hydrating Concealer (used to be known as Fakeup) is perfect for that. It works the same as any of the above products, as it conceals dark circles and even smooths fine lines, but its very light coverage. I don’t particularly think you can build this concealer like you can the others, but after all it is for a sheer coverage. Out of all the Boi-ing concealers, I find this the creamiest and most hydrating formula, and its infused with Vitamin E and apple seed extract that almost feels like a hydra-smoothing eye cream, but with coverage. It comes in a stick, with the concealer being in the middle and the hydrating formula encasing it. This really is so soothing to put on under the eyes.

Last but not least is the new Boi-ing Brightening Concealer, previously known as Erase Paste, another always spoken highly of in the beauty books. Similar to the Industrial Strength Concealer, this is quite full coverage but creamy, but this works more like a colour corrector. Whichever shade you are, this contains brightening melon undertones that work to correct under eye circles and also blemishes. If I’m really suffering with dark under eyes, I will choose this one. It works wonders for those sleepless nights and the melon/orange undertone leaves your face looking radiant. Seriously, you can say goodbye to those dark under eyes.

I sometimes use the Brightening Concealer over the top of the original Boi-ing Industrial Strength Concealer when I’m going for full glam, as the first conceals, then this conceals but brightens at the same time. They work really well together and don’t go cakey if you apply just a small amount, which is all you really need.

I’m in the shade No.2 and the range comes in many shades variants for all skin types. I really dig the diversity of these products and I get so much use out of each and every concealer.

To apply each of these concealers, I highly recommend a blending sponge. I’ve been using the mini Real Techniques blenders, with the narrow tip being perfect for the eye area and the larger end being great for blemishes and larger areas of the face.

These concealers are now available to buy in-store and online at Benefit counters and Boots.

What are your concealing desires? Which Boi-ing concealer pulls at your heartstrings?

I’m not going to lie, a good foundation actually makes my makeup. I feel a good base just sets you off to the best start to the day, and when it stays flawless all day long, it’s a really good feeling. I heard some great things about this foundation for a long time and it’s been a must in my beauty collection now for a couple of months, so it’s time to talk about it.

It’s the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation, probably my favourite foundation for a guaranteed flawless coverage as its one I can always rely on. Every time I apply it I know it’s going to make me feel good, and I find that really important. If I’m in a rush but going somewhere nice I always reach for this as I know what outcome ill get with it. I always switch up my primers to, from mattifying to glowy primers and the foundations just works all the time. My preferred way to apply this is with a damp Beautyblender as it bounces on so seamlessly and quick. The Ultra HD finish has been created to melt into the skin to give an unfiltered flawless finish in any light, which has been specially developed for TV and filming conditions that use 4K cameras.

What I love about this foundation and the brand itself is that they have an amazing colour range available and I found it so easy to colour order ventolin inhaler match myself. When shopping for foundations I usually get samples or a weeks worth of the product from the beauty counter and test it, and from the first test I just knew I needed it and I haven’t put it down since. I always go for this for daytime makeup to evening glam as it gives a medium coverage but is so easy to build.

The coverage doesn’t ‘mask’ your face either; it’s quite glowy and diminishes the appearance of blemishes instead of masking your face like some fuller coverage foundations do. Although it does give a medium-full coverage, the formula is very lightweight, almost featherweight as it lets your skin breath and doesn’t sit heavy at all. I usually apply just one light coat of this for my desirable medium coverage but glowy and flawless finish. I’m wearing it in this photo below.

Like the brand itself, the packaging is very minimalistic and simple, just how I like packaging. It comes in a plastic casing that is so handy for travelling, it does appear glass like to bring a luxurious feel but the plastic means its quite unbreakable.

Make Up For Ever also has a stick version of this, which I use a darker shade of for contour and that blends so easily to and they work great for contour. I’d love to try out the stick in my actual shade to see the difference in formula.

What’s your favourite go to foundation?

Megan ?

Brows have fast become a priority in the beauty world, from the ‘Insta-groomed’ brow to natural fluffy brows – all of which I love. Eyebrows are quite a personal thing, as people like to fill them in different ways and have different styles, and it can be quite hard to groom and maintain any type properly from home. I get mine threaded on a regular basis to get them to my desired shape and fill them in everyday. However, they are a pain to maintain in between each time and the Beautiful Brow Kit* is helping them look their best until the next threading day.

The kit comes with all the essentials you need to create and maintain perfect brows at home. No longer do I feel like I need to worry about my brows getting crazy and untamed, as mine grow out pretty fast. With this you can keep them well groomed as well as fill them in, all from one place. It comes with a smudge proof eyebrow powder (available in 5 shades), a duo brush, illuminating highlight powder, highlighter brush, soft grip tweezers, a magnifying mirror and easy-to-use eyebrow shapers for any type of brow. The brow shapers are great for those who desire a whole new brow shape instead of filling in what’s doxycycline no prescription there, and all of the shapers are so nice, you can really create any brow you want. All of this comes in a sleek white minimalistic compact case.

My kit is in the shade chocolate, a warm dark brown that matches my eyebrows perfectly. The shades also include slate, light brown, dark brown and black to suit any individual brow and hair colour. I find the brow powder really easy to use with the precise brush and it lasts all day. It also doesn’t have any fall out like some brow powders can have, and as mentioned, is completely smudge proof so they stay all day. The highlighter powder is a really pretty champagne nude shade and the small brush means you can get precise highlighting under the brows to give them that lifted look.

The kit is refillable to so when you run out of one of the products you can just buy that part, that way you can save money as you don’t have to buy the whole kit again. You can remove each individual compartment to so you can take whatever bit you like on the go with you, even in your little pocket!

Who else is a huge brow lover? What products do you love for fuss-free brows?

Megan ?

Urban Decay refresh? Check. Makeup setting spray refresh? Check. Pardon the puns, Urban Decay have a little refresh makeover of their best-selling setting spray, the All Nighter*. The formula is still its amazing self, but the packaging and feel is all new and I’m loving it.

This setting spray is up there in my favourites because it is just great. It performs just the way you want it to, and you can get extremely long lasting makeup with just a few sprays. A makeup meltdown whilst you’re mid mojo is never fun, so simply misting this over your full-face glam will ensure you have no problems. Its formula is built for all skin types and is free from oils and parabens and has some insane Temperature Control Technology, which works to cool or warm up your makeup depending on the weather conditions. Sounds a bit crazy doesn’t it, but it works. This buy generic ventolin inhaler makes sure your makeup sets for 16-hour wear and gives you smoother looking skin all day and all night.

Now, onto the new packaging. Its really gorgeous and just screams Urban Decay like no other packaging. It comes in a black soft-touch bottle with a purple sprayer and frosted white cap, super cute and classic. The sprayer itself is unlike any I’ve tried, as it spritzes out the finest mist I’ve ever used and doesn’t leave you with a wet or sticky face like some can. This spray is good for on the go due to its compact size; you can just pop it into your handbag.

Urban Decay are on the roll with new and amazing releases, and there are so many more to come in 2017! Who else is excited? You can purchase the all new spray here.

What Urban Decay products do you love?

Megan ?

There’s nothing quite better than feeling yourself, right?. When you complete your makeup and actually feel good instead of ‘meh’ is quite a great feeling. As I’ve mentioned recently, I’ve been really loving base makeup over anything else, and I feel to get my favourite flawless base the concealers I’ve been using really make a great difference. So what best than to share them with you?

Now, you may have already known this was coming but I can’t do a post like this without mentioning my new favourite, Tarte’s Shape Tape Concealer. This quickly became my new favourite, and since I’ve admittedly being using it a lot. I complety understand why beauty lovers went crazy over this as it fulfilled my expectations in an instant. Before this, I didn’t often use full coverage concealers but this has indeed changed my mind about the whole thing. As it is lightweight and super flawless it doesn’t give that ‘full-on-face’ finish. Instead, it leaves you feeling radiant and ready to take on the day. Also, the littlest amount goes a long way. For a full in depth review, you can read my post here.

A newbie that I’m loving is the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Concealer*, and I’ve been dying to try this for ages. This formula is lighter weight than the Tarte one and is slightly less coverage, but this is more buildable for those who don’t like the fulestl coverage concealers, or like to build buy amoxil amoxicillin online them as as when they need to. When I put this on I don’t feel as if I’m wearing anything, as it doesn’t crease or move throughout the day. As I say, you can achieve a medium coverage with this, or it is buildable without having the cake. It gives an even and luminous coverage that has a demi-matte finish, and I only lightly dust loose powder to set as it has amazing staying power.

For the applicators, I personally prefer Tarte’s, simply because its larger and therefore a lot quicker to apply. However, the Urban Decay one is pretty great for down the nose, cupids bow, and all those harder to get areas.

For a weightless and full coverage drugstore option I love the Maybelline Age Rewind, which reminds me that I need to stock up. It’s quite similar in formula and texture to the Tarte one, and gives a creaseless and flawless finish that I crave. I was testing out the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer that I know so many people love, I do love the formula and results but I don’t feel I picked up quite the right shade for me. I like concealers to be a 2-in-1 highlighter and coverage, rather than just covering up dark circles. So maybe I’ll try it again in a lighter shade, because I totally understand the craze over the formula for such a bargain price.

What is your favourite type of concealer?

Megan ??

The past few months I’ve been more about base products than I ever have before. I suppose since taking more care of my skin, I want my makeup products to improve my complexion with that. I recently purchased the Tarte Rainforest Of The Sea Foundation, and I waited way too long because I wish I’d purchased this sooner. I’ve really been missing out.

I saw a huge wave of love for this product via social media and YouTube, and when that happens I know I need to try it. So I bit the bullet and ordered it to the UK from the Tarte website itself when they had a free international shipping deal. I never do this but when it arrived I opened it and tried it straight away, as I was so eager. It’s seriously filled all of my expectations and more.

Firstly, I’ve never tried a water foundation and I was a little worried it would either run down my face or not have good staying power, but I was quite wrong. This is a lightweight, full coverage hydrating foundation infused with Tarte’s Rainforest of the Sea complex that blends like dream. If you like a lighter coverage this is buildable to full coverage, so you can achieve a medium coverage with it to. It isn’t purchase doxycycline cakey at all and results in looking like your own skin. As it’s a water based foundation the applicator is a dropper because the formula is so fluid, which I actually kind of like. It means you can control the amount of product you want to use, one drop, two and so on. For a whole face I usually use two and this gives me a medium-full coverage. As it’s a ‘watery’ texture, it spreads out more than other foundations so you get a bit more for your money.

I find it to last all day and works wonders with the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, they make quite the perfect pair.

It comes in a nice shade range of 12 colours to choose from. Luckily, I did a bit of research into the shades and picked my exact colour match, which was quite the result. They are true to names, as I picked up light-medium neutral, which is the name I usually look for when picking a foundation shade. To suit the rest of Tarte’s products the product is super luxurious with gorgeous minimal packaging. I love the frosted glass bottle and the ombre metallic lid, its so beautiful to sit on your makeup table.

Have you tried anything from Tarte?
