I’m not going to lie, when it comes to packing my makeup bag I used to be uber obsessive. I used to take endless amounts of makeup products that I didn’t need. Three foundations, ten lipsticks, three different eyeshadow palettes – a bit excessive, right? Then, after the first day of being there, my foundation no longer matches and I want to be as minimal with my makeup as possible in the heat. This time around I’m changing the game and taking as little as possible. So if you’re an over packer to, then my new minimal makeup bag packing tips might sway you to take only what you’ll need.

I only ever wear makeup in the evening, as I like to be barefaced during the day, so here’s what I’m taking with me this year.

First. If you’re going somewhere super hot and you’re gonna get sticky, I’d suggest to either not take a foundation or take a BB cream. It’s unbelievable how many times I’ve taken foundations away with me and not used them, so this year I’m not taking one. To prep the skin I’ll be using a dewy primer as I love a true glow on holiday, and I’ll be taking a the L’Oreal Lumi Magique Primer as I recently rediscovered this and am obsessed again. It adds instant glow and also looks so pretty worn alone. I generally stick to using a bit of concealer to hide any spots or blemishes and that’s the base done. My favourite for this is the Urban Decay Naked Concealer as it’s so lightweight and becomes invisible to the eye. Two products and that’s the base done.

When you’re on holiday there’s nothing quite like a bronze glow. For that I tend to stick with my trusty MAC Gimme Sun Bronzer as it’s dark enough to bronze up my skin no matter what tan I achieve. It also sits so well on bare skin and doesn’t feel powdery. To get that ultimate glow I’ll of course be taking a blinding highlight duo, consisting of the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops in Sunlight and Anastasia Beverly Hills Highlight in So Hollywood – this is my go to for a golden glow! For a pop of added colour on the cheeks I’ll use my favourite Benefit GALifornia Blush, a pretty peach shade that is beautiful with sunkissed skin. Then to finish the face you can’t forget the setting spray, especially in the heat, and I’ll be taking the Urban Decay All Nighter away with me as it does wonders for locking your makeup into place all evening.

Instead of taking a heap of palettes that really never even make it out of the suitcase, I’m taking just one. Yes you read it right, one! I’ve chose to take the trusty Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette, as burnt orange and chocolate shades are my go to for holiday. With the matte shades are some beautiful shimmers and you can really create so many looks from this one palette. You can go for a subtle gold shimmery eye to a smoky deep brown, so I really do trust buy accutane 10mg this to get me through the two weeks. When I got this I used it for weeks without using anything else, so I’m pretty sure it’ll do me justice. To prime the lids I’ll use my concealer as I always do and set it with the Nars Translucent Powder, which will be used for the face sometimes to (this powder is so versatile and is great for light packing).

I don’t actually wear liquid or kohl liner at the minute, so I can skip that part and it’s straight onto the lashes. For more minimal days I’ll stick by the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara as it adds amazing length and volume so fast. When I want to dress my face up a bit more I’ll be using my favourite Ardell Wispies.

I’ll be keeping it quite simple for the lips with a nude liner and lipstick, probably MAC Spice and Tarte’s Matte Lip Paint in Bestie. For a brighter lip I’ll be using the oh so beautiful Sydney Amaryllis matte liquid lipstick from The Body Shop, which is a bright coral that looks so pretty with bronzed skin. For a bit of sass I’ll be throwing in Jouer’s Lip Topper in St Tropez that is super pigmented and leaves your lips a shimmering champagne shade.

How many products was that, 15? As opposed to the 30+ I used to take, I think I’ve done pretty well. This all fits into my cute Skinny Dip Peach makeup bag WITH lots of room for other stuff (as opposed to the huge bag double this size that I used to take).

Along with the makeup, you can’t forget all the essential makeup brushes and tools, but for those I’m also taking as little as I can. Of course my priority is my Beautyblender as I can’t go anywhere with it and for the bronze and glow I’ll use a fluffy bronzer brush and Zoeva Fan Brush.

My eye brushes will consist of a large fluffy blender, small crease brush and inner corner highlight. I love to pack on the lid colour with my finger as it picks up more pigment and also means one less brush! I pack all of my brushes along with the other tools in my Blank Canvas Cosmetics Compact Upright Pouch, a super handy storage tool for any makeup kit. You can read all about it here.

I also ALWAYS pack a few tools, as you never know what you might need whilst you’re away. This includes:

Tweezers – for those flyaway brows / Small scissors – can be used for anything & A Spoolie Brush – to comb through the brows and lashes.

That’s my holiday makeup bag done! Honestly, that’s a quarter of the makeup I used to take. Why did I feel the need to take half my collection for one face? I really have no idea. If you’re an over packer I hope this little list of product I’m taking away with me inspires you to pack less!

What’s your go to evening holiday makeup look?

If discovering new beauty brands and products is your thing then I’ve got something for all of your needs. You may have heard of beauty subscription boxes, an exciting experience for us beauty lovers as you a whole bunch of new products delivered to your door every month. I consider myself quite a makeup hoarder, but a lot of the time I buy similar products and never go out of my comfort zone. Many boxes I’ve tried I never find much I’d purchase again until in stepped Glossybox*.

Glossybox are a beauty subscription box like no other. Never before have I received a box and been satisfied with everything that’s inside. Let me let you in…

BeautyPro Black Diamond Peel Off Mask (worth £4.95)

I do love a good facemask and when it comes in a little sachet, I think its even better. I love to use a mask from a sachet as it tells me how much I need to put on my face. Its unbelievable the amount of times I’ve squeezed too much facemask out of a tube and had to waste it. BeautyPro have designed this peel off mask for those that suffer with blackheads and wish to purify their skin. You apply this to a dry face, then after 20 minutes (or when its fully dry) you peel it off starting from the chin, and the charcoal formula activates to pull out all the junk and dirt from your pores. It works like a blackhead nose strip does but is gentler on the skin and peels off to reveal brighter cleansed skin.

111Skin Space Defence Bright Eye Lift Gel (15ml bottle worth £110)

When it comes to luxury skincare, I honestly don’t have much experience. My skincare choices depend on whether or not they work for my skin. I don’t tend to go by price, but this brand is kind of out of my price range BUT I’m so glad I got to try it in June’s Glossybox. With the skin around the eyes being the most sensitive area of the face, the area you need to take most care of, its important to have a good product to protect it. This soothing eye gel helps reduce puffiness and minimise dark circles, which is all I look for in an eye product. However, this isn’t any normal soothing gel, it’s so soothing in fact it wakes me straight up in the morning and keeps my eyes hydrated and awake all day. It’s so effective it’s got me back into using this daily, and I haven’t used an eye cream so regularly in ages. It’s done my tired eyes the world of good!

Manna Keder Sheer Glow Illuminator (full size worth $29.00/£22.00)

Coming across new makeup brands always does excite me – I’m like a little kid at Christmas. Manna Keder is a brand I’ve not heard of but was intrigued as soon as I saw this product. Its their Sheer Glow Illuminator in a really pretty peach pink shade. I am a sucker for a peach toned makeup product, so this did draw me in straight away. During the warmer months I much prefer wearing liquid highlights and this has been perfect to use recently. It is quite a sheer formula, as it says, but when wearing over the top of foundation its really easy to build. You can either purchase accutane wear this on its own or as a base for a powder highlight, and has really amazing staying power either way.

Sleek Power Plump Lip Crayon in Colossal Coral (full size worth £5.49)

Being the beauty lover that I am, when I saw Sleek in the box I was over the moon. Sleek are a brand I love trying new bits from every now and then when new bits come in to store, and the Plump Lip Crayons are a product I’d never tried before. In this box I received the shade Colossal Coral, a really delicate pink coral. The formula of this is really creamy and pigmented on the lips. It doesn’t last the longest time as it is quite balmy, but it does look so pretty on the lips. It’s an ideal shade for summer time!

Batiste XXL Volume Spray (full size worth £4.00)

Hair care has recently become something I enjoy, which is something I never thought I’d say. Taking care of my hair and bothering to style it everyday is something I enjoy now so trying out new hair products is quite fun. I’m a big fan of Batiste and trying out their XXL Volume Spray is something I wish had happened sooner. Although I have thick curly hair, when it comes to needing a wash I always crave a bit more volume. This stuff reminds me of the oh-so popular (but incredibly expensive) Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, as when you spray it into the hair it lifts it like backcombing it would. It leaves you with effortless volume like you’ve just washed it and also smells so incredible.

Eness Cosmetics Exotic Africa Argan Oil Nourishing Hand Cream (full size worth £6.50)

Again, Eness are a brand I’ve never heard of but am now so glad I’ve discovered. I’m quite a hand cream lover and I added this to my collection with open arms. I find it important to take good care of your hands just like you do your face and body and Eness have got it spot on with their formula. This cream is infused with Argan Oil, which makes it so hydrating and beautifully scented. The formula feels as if its been whipped as it feels very lightweight and sinks into the skin so fast before leaving you with super soft hands. I love to keep this handy so I can use it on a regular basis.

It doesn’t stop there either. In this particular Glossybox, there is an exclusive preview of Louise Pentland’s new book ‘Wilde Like Me’, which I now must purchase as I need to read more. That’s what I love about Glossybox, there are so many great surprises that always go the extra mile.

You do get a lot of full size or deluxe size samples in these boxes, which are fab if you love the product and don’t want it to run out. There’s nothing worse than beauty boxes that are skimpy with their samples, whereas Glossybox go all out on the treats (for just £10 per month to!).

The latest Glossybox for July is a travel edition and is now available to purchase here – don’t miss out, there are some serious goodies (including a beautiful Fan Brush from Spectrum!).

Have you tried the Glossybox?

Know Cosmetics covers professional fixes that we all envy, from brows to lips. I’d heard of this brand when browsing Sephora, but now there is no worry for us UK residents as the range has released in Superdrug. The range consists of five products, of which I’ve been testing two and I wanted to share with you my first impressions.

For all of us that have eyebrows as a top priority in the makeup department, I’ve got something you’ll really love. No Bare Brows is a best-selling product from Know Cosmetics, as it’s a brow pencil for everyone. It’s a universal 4-in-1 shaping kit that transforms all eyebrows. The product is a universal brow colour at one end and a wax tamer at the other, and it also comes with a sharpener and brush attachment so that it’s easy to take on the go with you. I know it sounds a bit strange, a universal brow colour but I totally got it once I used it. It’s a buildable colour that is a light brown to start with, and I can build it up for my dark brown brows. One thing I would say is that it wouldn’t be the best for black brows, as it doesn’t build that dark. However, it is great from generic accutane online fair to dark brown shades. The wax works really well, you can go extreme or light with this depending on how much hold you desire.

As a female with fairly small lips myself, their product No Thin Lips kind of screams my name. I don’t mind my lips at all, but sometimes having a bit more plumpness is what I look for. This product is a natural lip plumping tool for beautifully full lips. It’s a smooth and colourless gloss that works on bare lips to volumise and plump. I’ve tried a couple of products similar before and haven’t seen much of a result, but I did see this worked. It was only very slightly; as of course the guidelines say its natural, which looked really nice. After applying you get a strange tingling sensation that lasts for just a couple of minutes. The product is formulated with Aloe Oil and Vitamin E so you can apply as often as you desire. First impressions, I really love this and have continued using it. I usually only use it for glam moments as I don’t feel the need for it everyday.

If you fancy trying the range its available in Superdrug for the UK and Sephora in the US.

Have you tried any new brands lately?

The past few months I’ve been more about base products than I ever have before. I suppose since taking more care of my skin, I want my makeup products to improve my complexion with that. I recently purchased the Tarte Rainforest Of The Sea Foundation, and I waited way too long because I wish I’d purchased this sooner. I’ve really been missing out.

I saw a huge wave of love for this product via social media and YouTube, and when that happens I know I need to try it. So I bit the bullet and ordered it to the UK from the Tarte website itself when they had a free international shipping deal. I never do this but when it arrived I opened it and tried it straight away, as I was so eager. It’s seriously filled all of my expectations and more.

Firstly, I’ve never tried a water foundation and I was a little worried it would either run down my face or not have good staying power, but I was quite wrong. This is a lightweight, full coverage hydrating foundation infused with Tarte’s Rainforest of the Sea complex that blends like dream. If you like a lighter coverage this is buildable to full coverage, so you can achieve a medium coverage with it to. It isn’t purchase doxycycline cakey at all and results in looking like your own skin. As it’s a water based foundation the applicator is a dropper because the formula is so fluid, which I actually kind of like. It means you can control the amount of product you want to use, one drop, two and so on. For a whole face I usually use two and this gives me a medium-full coverage. As it’s a ‘watery’ texture, it spreads out more than other foundations so you get a bit more for your money.

I find it to last all day and works wonders with the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, they make quite the perfect pair.

It comes in a nice shade range of 12 colours to choose from. Luckily, I did a bit of research into the shades and picked my exact colour match, which was quite the result. They are true to names, as I picked up light-medium neutral, which is the name I usually look for when picking a foundation shade. To suit the rest of Tarte’s products the product is super luxurious with gorgeous minimal packaging. I love the frosted glass bottle and the ombre metallic lid, its so beautiful to sit on your makeup table.

Have you tried anything from Tarte?

Being really into makeup, I am actually really guilty of sticking to the same brands every time I get new products. You’d think it would be the other way around, that I’d be trying more brands more often, rather than sticking to the same one. Bagsy Beauty is a brand that was completely new to me up until two months ago, and I’ve been using their products ever since. Goes to show, new brands can live up to the expectations of the ones you love dearly.

Bagsy Beauty* is a British brand that have a small byt perfectly designed collection of easy-to-choose, easy-to-use everyday beauty essentials that are designed to fit inside your handbag. An edit of the best of every beauty bag, the range has been crafted with an attention to detail from the beautiful designs and cleverly compact packaging to the versatile formulas that are a joy to use.

I’ve tried a few products from their range now, and today I’m going to tell you all about them. They range from hair care to makeup and accessories, so I’m sure they’ll be something you’ll like to. Firstly, we have the Wonder Wand Concealing & Illuminating Duo. This little guy is really really handy when it comes to wanting quick but flawless makeup. At first glance I thought this was a contour and highlighting stick, but I was very wrong. The darker side is a concealer, one that hides blemishes and conceals under-eye darkness, whilst the other side is for illuminating the skin for a natural sheen. The concealer is full coverage, so I tend to use this on redness and spots and use the creamy illuminating shade as either a makeup base or as a base for my highlight as this order cheap doxycycline stick really makes all highlighters pop. The longevity of both products are very long wearing, they last as well as all my other favourite makeup products – a good 10 hours.

Next is the Soft Matte Lip Colour, in a very gorgeous and girly pink shade, Living The Dream. This lipstick is definitely a matte finish, but it so comfortable on the lips. Its pigment isn’t quite intense but gives a really subtle but pretty pinkness to the lips, making them your lips but better. For more pigment I use a pink-nude lip liner underneath, either MAC’s Soar or NYX in Natural. It also lasts really well.

A handbag necessity for every girl is a compact mirror, and believe it or not, I didn’t have one up until this arrived. Its packaging is soft and durable and also small enough to fit into those smaller pockets in your handbag so it’s an easy find. One half is magnified, which more often than not I choose not to use (many of you might know why that side is not the preferred choice) but it’s so great for touch ups.

For the hair we have what every girl relies on when you’ve got no time on your hands, Hair Wonder, Bagsy’s dry shampoo. I am guilty of using this quite often, but I’m glad I’ve found one I really like. Infused with vitamin B5 and oat oil, this dry shampoo gives hair an instant refresh and lift whilst taking away the oils from your roots. It’s a real quick fix to, as it doesn’t stain your hair grey like some do.

Quite honestly, anything rose gold is a winner in my books. And when I laid my eyes on the Crown Brusk UK Rose Gold Oval Brushes* I fell head over heels. Not only are these brushes bang on trend right now, the colour and design of them just excited me… a lot. Not only are these beautiful, this Full Face Contour Set is all you need to complete a whole face of makeup. Want to see how?

screen-shot-2016-12-12-at-11-20-23

At first I was a bit sceptical to how these would apply product, and whether the handles and hairbrush style head would make it harder. Crown Brush UK proved me wrong, as they actually make it easier and a heck of a lot quicker. Also, the super soft and luxurious bristles make every application smooth and seamless, perfect for an even coverage.

With the smallest brush I tend to use it for under eye concealer/highlighting and applying contour products. But of course, in between these steps it’s important to clean off your brush. I find this the perfect size to get into those hard to reach areas, and also blends out under eye concealer so easily. For cream/powder blush and bronzer application I use the medium priligy online size brush. I find this just the right size to apply product super fast and is an essential for when you don’t have a lot of time. For the days when I have a bit less time, I also use this brush to apply or blend out my contour products, as again it makes the process a lot quicker. The brush for full-face foundation application is of course, the biggest brush. This is by far my favourite, and has converted me back to believing in face brushes as I’ve been using a Beauty Blender for years now. It blends foundation within seconds, and it doesn’t matter if it’s a thicker coverage, it just makes the whole process fuss-free.

Unlike other oval paddle brushes on the market, these are designed to twist and withstand pressure, so those of us with heavier hands this is a real dream. I’ve seen in the past other oval brushes snapping in half, but with these you don’t have to worry.

Another plus is that they are 100% synthetic and vegan friendly!

This set retails for £29.99. To shop these brushes and the other amazing and affordable products Crown Brush UK have, click here.

Makeup storage and sorting is definitely in my top things to do, I just love it. It’s so physically and mentally stimulating, I mean, everything is just so pretty and it means I get time to stare at it in all its glory. That may sound a little odd, but you get what I mean I’m sure. Items that I put on display, like lipsticks, brushes and liners are something I find easy to control, but when it comes to the little things, sometimes it’s much harder work than you thought. When I started hoarding single shadows I was a bit unsure where and how to store them, and I’ve finally found the perfect solution.

Make Up For Ever have a range of empty metal palettes, which you can customise to how you like with any product that has a magnetic base. The large palette* is what I currently have, and this stores around 32 standard single shadows (such as those from Morphe, Makeup Geek and ABH).

screen-shot-2016-12-06-at-21-21-37

It’s case is ultra slim and elegant with an easy wipeable matte black finish. The palette is also super lightweight, even with shadows in and this makes it so easy to carry around with you. This is by far better buy priligy in usa than other customisable palettes I’ve used as the packaging really makes it that much better. Your shadows stay safe at all times, there’s no need to worry with these when travelling.

screen-shot-2016-12-06-at-21-21-25

These palettes from MUFE are also great at storing extreme glitter shadows, like these two from Glitter Eyes*. The colours here have been my favourite recently in the shades Aurora (left) and Unicorn Wings (right), a bright hot pink and silver/purple with tonnes of multi-coloured reflects. You have to admit, these are perfect for the festive season ahead, they give the most amazing colour payoff and don’t budge all day and all night. They are great for this palette as it comes with a foam insert to place on top of the shadows, therefore you don’t get any fall out. This also means your shadows have extra protection whilst on the go. Both products are also super affordable to!

screen-shot-2016-12-06-at-21-21-16

This palette is sold on the Make Up For Ever store, or if you’re in the UK they are sold by PAM London, and are available in four sizes from £3.95.

Now I’ve got so much space in the palette I’m so keen to fill it up, which shadows would you recommend?

Welcome to another episode of Skincare Sunday. This week is an update of my morning skincare routine. Each season I tend to accumulate new products, some I love and some that just don’t work for me. Now the weather is a heck of a lot cooler, I’ve rounded up my favourite products that I use every morning to keep my skin fresh, glowing and extra hydrated.

I’ve whittled it down to categories, some having more than one product simply because they both do an amazing job but give different results. Lets go.

screen-shot-2016-11-13-at-13-32-18

For the eyes there have been two products I simply can’t pick between. First is Clinique’s Pep Start Eye Cream, a quick fix for tired puffy eyes. Within a few seconds you appear wide-awake and refreshed. I have a deluxe sample size that I will soon be swapping for full size as it’s my go to when I’m in a rush. It’s also amazing to use just before makeup as it dries super fast. For days when I have a little more time on my hands and won’t be in a rush to put on my makeup I reach for Nip+Fab No Needle Fix Eye Cream, a 3-in-1 formula for puffiness, dark circles and premature ageing. It’s gel like formula is great for reducing and covering the appearance of dark circles. A great fix for those panda eyed days.

screen-shot-2016-11-13-at-13-32-25

Skincare products for my face have been my saviours recently. To start I use the Clinique Pep Start 2-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser, which is great for skin lacking a little radiance. Its gentle formula takes away dead skin, excess oil and impurities to leave skin smooth and glowing from within. This is also a great product to prep your skin for makeup. Next, I take the Freedom Glycolic Glow Radiance amoxil buy Tonic (a very inexpensive dupe of the Pixi Glow Tonic) that simply evens out skin tone for a clearer radiant complexion. I use this everyday and I can’t believe the difference it makes, even for no makeup days.

The legendary product and my holy grail is the one and only Origins GinZing Moisturiser, I can’t say enough about this, it’s just incredible. Its oil free and fortified with skin-boosters such as Panax Ginseng and Coffee bean, which jumpstarts hydration levels. It leaves you with the ultimate glow and helps skin look refreshed and feel amazing.

screen-shot-2016-11-13-at-13-32-34

For facemasks, I have many favourites but for this time of year and one I’ve been reaching for the most is the Rodial Super Acids X-treme Hangover Mask. A skin treat for dull and ‘hungover’ skin, sounds like a dream right? Well it is. This a deep cleansing clay mask that works to restore a radiant looking complexion. It’s the perfect post partying mask to revitalise tired looking skin, and it draws out all imperfections. This is the perfect skin saviour for this season.

screen-shot-2016-11-13-at-13-32-01

Cold weather really gets to my lips, and I’ve finally found some products to combat this nastiness. For those who suffer with dryness or chapped lips, the Dr PawPaw Original Soothing Balm is the answer. It’s thick gel formula is super hydrating and helps recover any dead skin you may have. For an extra boost of hydration I’ve been loving the Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil, and these come in three amazing shades/flavours, mine is honey. The perfect quick fix solution, and also makes your lips look super plump and nourished.

There you have it, my morning skincare routine and a round up of my favourite skincare products for this coming season.

What are your skincare saviours for the Fall/Winter?

Oh my, Spectrum Collections have pulled it out the bag, yet again, with another dreamy brush set. Beautiful design? Check. Silky soft bristles? Check. Every beauty lovers dream? Check. The new Bombshell Collection* has really got it all covered, with gorgeous blush pinks and gold tones and super soft brushes, each being like a sheet of silk… quite heavenly!

I’ve raved before about the Spectrum brushes, and I am doing it again because they are simply that good! This range is their latest collection that hit their online store not so long ago, retailing at £79.99 for 12 gorgeous brushes that are worth every penny. Everyone was going crazy over them, and they seriously exceeded all of my expectations.

screen-shot-2016-10-28-at-17-00-42

First off, we must talk about the brush hairs. They are the softest and most delicate bristles I’ve ever felt on a brush. It really feels like your wiping your face on silk. They are honestly so dreamy. With that, they also pick up the perfect amount of product and are so soft they ensure the smoothest application possible. I find all of the brushes work well with either liquid, cream or powder products, which is handy for those of you who like to mix it up a bit and use them in many generic priligy online ways.

As well as being the perfect applicators for all types of product, they look so gorgeous to, they look incredible on my makeup table. They’re made with blush pink and hot pink ombre hairs that are encased in a rose gold metal ferrule. The brush handle itself is a blush pink and give that extra girly but elegant feel.

For packaging you can choose from a gorgeous holographic clam shape case, or alternatively for people who’d like to travel with them they offer a roll case in the same colour.

The brushes include are (L-R):

Too Faced has done it again with their latest and greatest collaboration with YouTube sensation and makeup guru, Nikkie Tutorials. This exclusive collection features everything you need to make any look you wish with endless possibilities.
Not only does this come with eye shadows, the palette contains two Love Flush blushers in I Will Always Love You (a muted peach) and Justify My Love (a baby pink), Nikkie’s highlighter in Champagne Truffle and the best-selling Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. As well as this you receive a Marker
Liquid Liner in Deep Black, Shadow Insurance Shadow Primer, a Glamour Dust loose glitter in Blue Angel and a limited edition Better Than Sex Mascara in purple. I mean, could this collection be any more perfect?
As expected the shadows are of amazing quality, all equally as pigmented from the mattes to intense glitters. What I love most is how creamy the shadows are, they all blend so well on the lid making them perfect for super smoky looks. My two favourites have to be Mystic Hour and Wham Bam,
which are the two super intense shades in the palette. I’ve never seen anything like these with such incredible pigment and no fall out whatsoever.
The shades:
  • Ivy – an off white matte
  • Sugar Coated – a baby pink shimmer
  • Frosted Yum – a soft turquoise shimmer
  • Irresistible – a true intense gold shimmer
  • Painkiller – a soft matte brown
  • Makeup & Chill – a deep/warm matte brown
  • Mystic Hour – an intense teal shimmer
  • Wham Bam – a bright purple shimmer
  • Wanted – a matte black
One product that I’m so happy with aside from the palette is the liquid buy ventolin online liner, it’s the most precise tip I’ve ever come across and it’s so easy to use. Not only that, the shade really is deep black as the colour is so intense and doesn’t budge or come off throughout the day – it has amazing staying power. With the mascara, I’m not one to wear any other shade than a black or brown, but this looks so great on bottom lashes for a pop of colour.
The loose glitter is super pretty on top of an eye shadow or as an inner corner highlight, it’s so fairy dust inspired and I love that. Also, I was so happy to receive a travel size eye primer as Shadow Insurance is one of my favourites and is one I can always rely on. It helps shadow stay on all day without creasing, and it’s the perfect size to pop in a travel bag to.
Lastly, the design is something we need to talk about because how cute is it? It’s so clearly inspired by Nikkie, mixing fierce with girly due to the leopard prints and bright pinks. It’s made from a strong cardboard and looks super luxurious. As the palette is so slim it makes it really travel friendly, along with the extras that come with it.
L-R: Ivy, Sugar Coated, Frosted Yum, Irresistible, Painkiller, Makeup & Chill, Mystic Hour, Wham Bam and Wanted

Have you ever been so obsessed with a highlighter that you want to physically wear it? That’s exactly how I feel with this one. Dior Beauty have an absolutely stunning range of products, and out of everything, the highlighters just screamed to me the most. The other new releases had me at my knees – they are just too pretty to resist.

The DiorSkin Nude Air Loose Powders are simply perfection. I’m very new to loose highlighters and by first impression I was so amazed by the flawless results. Not only is it so finely milled that it’s literally like fairy dust on your face, it sits there all day and doesn’t budge. You can wear this as a normal highlighter, on the high points of your face to accentuate your good angles. Or, you can use this just like a normal face powder, which
you would use all over.

The loose cheap priligy online powder in enriched with transparent pigments that are invisible to the naked eye, which give you an airbrushed natural glow. This works really well when applied with the powder puff, or alternatively using a fluffy powder brush does the same job but I think it actually diffuses it a bit better this way.

If you’re really into glowy skin then this would impress you I’m sure! As well as the product inside, the outer packaging is so stunning and sits so well as decoration. I’ve sat this on top of my makeup table and it just looks so luxurious. This item is quite a splurge, but it’s worth the money and it’s good to indulge once in a while, don’t you agree?

I’ve decided to start a new series on my blog, all about trying new brands, some that are buzzing around social media and some that aren’t so well known. This will be a regular occurrence on here, which I hope you will all enjoy as much as me. I am guilty of being one of those people who sticks to the same brands all the time, but I realised it’s good to mix it up a bit. So, lets get straight into it with the first brand being Freedom Makeup.

Freedom Makeup is fairly new to me; in terms of it being a brand I haven’t seen much of in the drugstore. But after admiring the stand for a few seconds, there was so much I wanted to try.

The first item I had to pick up was an eye shadow palette, as there were so many to choose from, from brights to darks, nudes and mixed. The London Pro 12 palette in Audacious 3 is the perfect mix of nudes and pinks, with both matte and shimmers to choose from. Since my first use of the shadows, I have been really impressed with the pigmentation and longevity of all the shades. It’s important to ensure you have a good base down for the shadows to make sure they last as long as possible, and to prevent the shimmers from creasing. They are also incredibly easy to blend, the darkest shade impressing me the most.

My favourites to wear have been the middle line of shadows, just because you can go as light or intense as you want with them – and they are so me! It’s also buying accutane online such a great drugstore dupe of the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, for just a tiny fraction of the price as this retails for only £4.00.

The product I picked up with no hesitation was the Pro Studio Glycolic Glow Tonic, one that has embraced the beauty scene in shining glory. I simply had to try this after many amazing reviews on social media. This Radiance Glow Tonic is an exfoliating toner that evens out skin tone for brighter and clearer skin. It is the easiest product I’ve ever used, it gives amazing results just after one quick wipe. The Glycolic Acid works to remove dead skin cells to reveal softer and smoother skin, its so worth the £6 and recommend this to anyone looking for a quick solution to brighten your face.

5 lipsticks for £5? Yes please. The Bare Lipstick Collection is the dream for every nude lipstick lover. Although the shades are very similar to one another, you can never have too many nudes. The pack comes with 5 shades, ranging from a light nude to brown. The longevity of the product is impressive for the price, but the pigmentation lacks a little. These work best if you layer on top of a lip liner, which I always do but for those who aren’t liner wearers then that’s just a little heads up. However, the pigmentation didn’t really bother me too much because of the price. They all perform as a sheer matte and the pack would cater to any skin tone.
